Bowtrol review
Product Reviews February 24th, 2009
I recently posted a simple review on using puritans pride vitamin supplement during my weight loss program. I also mentioned that as time goes by I would be reviewing different products that I am currently trying out.
When growing up my mom used to bring home bags of prunes, when she did that I knew that meant that dad was constipated, now days you see advertisements for Metamucil and a ton of other laxatives that supposedly give you enough fiber and well… put simply, help you achieve good bowel movement.
So after seeing tons of herbal supplements on the market just to help achieve the above. I figured I would give Bowtrol a try. Why Bowtrol ? Well for one I can buy online, but mainly because I have read a lot of good and bad stuff on the net about Bowtrol and I wanted to see for myself. Originally Bowtrol just used to have one product, but they have now extended their product line in to three products, one is Bowtrol for sensitive digestion, the next is Bowtrol probiotic formula, and the other one is Bowtrol colon cleanse.
All three products have one main objective in mind, and that is to treat the digestive track an colon, the Bowtrol for sensitive digestion is product aimed at supporting healthy colon functions, at the same time keeping your digestive track healthy, helping improve regularity and is best suited for people with sensitive digestion.
Bowtrol probiotic is exactly that, Bowtrol probiotic formula contains over 9 billion probiotic cells, this is 4 to 5 times more than that found in typical yogurt cultures, plus you do not have the additional sugar and calories found in those commercial store bought yogurts, a big plus for those of us on a low sugar low fat diet.
Bowtrol colon cleanse is the one that I purchased because what I am looking for at this time is just a simple colon cleanser with 100% natural ingredients, maybe later on I will opt for the probiotic formula as it sounds like a viable option, plus I am not a huge yogurt fan.
For me Bowtrol worked extreemely well, they recommend 3 to 8 capsules before bed which I took, the first night I woke up 3 times with the urge to go pretty bad. I am assuming this was an initial cleansing but the next night I took the same amount, with no need to get up and go to the bathroom, but now I am taking 4 capsules at night which seems to be the right dose for me, my wife on the other hand began taking 8 capsules and after 3 days no big results, after the 4rth day she began to see a difference, but like everything else everyone is different , but overall Bowtrol has done what it says it does, after I finish my 3 bottles I think I will go ahead and try their probiotic formula.
All the ingredients contained in Bowtrol are 100% natural, so if you are looking for a good quality herbal colon cleanse I belive that bowtrol is one that can be highly recommended.
