Week nine
My Personal weight loss April 7th, 2009So week nine and things are moving right along, 2 more pounds lost but my clothes are fitting better, plus I have more resistance when exercising to the point I am not almost fainting when doing my daily work out, I have added a few carbs to my diet, mostly because I felt the need of a little bit more energy boost, especially working out twice a day.
Right now my diet is still pretty consistent, in the morning a glass of juice, coffee, maybe a small bowl of oatmeal, mid day a handful of almonds or a little bit of tuna packed in water.
In the evening chicken or fish with a green salad and either some lentels, black beans, it can be kind of monotonous so you have to continually switch things around, if not it can be difficult maintaining consistency in your diet, if things are really tough, have a treat something you like but just enough to keep the craving down.
I have put a lot of enphasis on exercise recently, picking up the pace, right now I am jogging in the morning 3 miles coming home and lifting weights, using light weights and lots of repetitions, in the afternoon I am doing crunches I started doing 100 and have worked my way up to 500 my goal is to do 1000 every day, I know there is no such thing as spot reduction but believe me my abs have been sore every day since I started so as long as my muscles are feeling it, I should gradually see results both firming and weight loss.
The whole key here is consistency one you find your pattern, run with it vary your workout vary your food, it really does get easier, some days are hard, some days are easy.
