For the last few days I have been troubled with a huge amount of insomnia. I dont know if it is just one big holiday hangover or what. I was doing really good before the holidays but for the past few nights it has been terrible and I have not been able to sleep , tossing and turning and waking up feeling really bad. Insomnia affects many of us at one time or another and there are many I guess so called causes such as stress, improper diet caffeine and other culprits we can blame, but ultimately it still can make you feel really hum drum and if you have to be in a productive thinking environment it can really cause some major issues. Many men do not like discussing the woes of age, it seems that after the age of 50 things start going a bit south with the male reproductive organs, not in all men but in many , including erectile dysfunction but more than that, it seems that many men after the age of 60 are subject to prostate issues. I mentioned to one client that the bathroom seemed to be a life saver, and he grinned and said , wait till you get to be my age. Read the rest of this entry »

I normally have a cup of coffee every other day, the days I don’t, I drink a cup of herbal tea of some sort. This morning as I reached for my mint tea the box was empty. A few years back my son was wetting the bed , he was 8 years old then, and frequently wet the bed. It was frustrating, my first instance was to scold him and criticize him for wetting the bed, something I should have never done because later it would make him self conscious and sometimes the stress it created was worse on him than the actual bed wetting.
