Right foods can result in good hair and glowing skin

Did you know that eating the right type of foods can do wonders for your skin and hair, which none of the creams or lotions can even hope to achieve? Most of us spend enormous amount of money to make our skin glow or make our hair bouncier and shinier. Yet no amount of gel, shampoos, conditioners, lotions and creams can go for our skin and hair which the right food can do.  You might be wondering what has food, which is digested by our digestive system has to do with our skin and hair. In fact plenty of good things are brought about by the right kind of foods, especially those rich in vitamins and minerals. Here are a few foods which you must buy the next time you visit your grocer:

 

     Sweet Potatoes, carrots, green leafy vegetables, mangos and apricots – if you love to have them, good. Otherwise make it a habit of eating plenty of such foods, rich in beta carotene which your liver will turn into natural vitamins.      Have a full large glass of pure and fresh orange or any citrus juice every day. It can have a positive impact on your hair and skin as it produces more collagen since they are rich in vitamin C.      For a flowing and bouncy crown of glory you need to eat turkey, oysters, lentils and eggs which are excellent for hair. It gives more body to the hair and makes it glow as these foods supply more oxygen to the hair follicles.

     Dairy products, fish, meat and breakfast cereals are rich in vitamin B and folate which help in the production of red blood corpuscles which betters the oxygen supply in your blood stream. These foods enrich your skin and hair roots which become stronger with reduced chances of falling or breaking.
