Basics of Zone Diet
If you have never heard of Zone Diet, it would perhaps interest you to note that this is yet another diet plan, meant to correct your daily food intake and give you correct amount of nutrition. Developed by Barry Sears who is also the author of the famous book “Enter the Zone”, Zone diet is based on the 40/30/30 theory. In case you are wondering what these numbers signify, they are indicative of the percentage of calorie intake, recommended by the Zone diet. Thus according to this diet plan, the calorie intake should be thus: 40% of calories should be from carbohydrates, 30% from protein, and 30% from fats. So when you have the recommended percentage of calorie intake mentioned in the Zone diet, you are considered to have had a Zone Favorable meal.
