Though the tips mentioned below should not be tried out all together, as it does not react the same way with every body, you could include these weight loss tips in your daily schedule for not only feeling better, but looking better too.


To check whether each of these tips is good for you, try out one at a time and if you do not feel good, try out the second one. it is important to remember that weight loss really takes about 3 months before you could see the positive outcome of a weight loss program:

Here are some of the post effective tips on weight loss. These would help you lose weight which you have gained due to improper diet over a period of time:  

 
1. Have plenty of fruits and vegetables as they are a rich source of vitamins, fibers and antioxidants.

2. Have plenty of fresh fruits and have them between meals. This helps in monitoring your sugar levels and stops frequent cravings for food.

3. Have lots of fresh vegetables during your meals. Stop mixing proteins with starch.

4. It is advisable not to go beyond 4 to 5 servings of meat per week. This would naturally necessitate increase in the consumption of vegetables.

5. Start the habit of having lentils, peas and dry beans. Instead of having meat, have lots of legumes.

 

6. Do not drink liquids with your meals. In case you are very thirsty, drink a bottle of water giving a 10-minute gap after meals.


7. Instead of having 3 big meals a day, have 5 to 6 smaller meals. Eating smaller meals help in reduction of calorie intake and keep a check on your sugar levels.


8. Instead of adding stuff like pop, cream, juices and sugar in your tea, coffee or other drinks, which simply goes on adding calorie and helps you gain weight, have a minimum of 8 glasses of water everyday, which keeps your system hydrated and gives you a ‘full’ feeling.

9. It is also recommended by dieticians that weight loss if rapid and also healthy if you do some form of physical exercise at least 30 to 60 minutes everyday.

10. Avoid alcohol consumption as it adds more calories and also helps you gain extra pounds.
